We would like to clearly identify the dates our department references when describing traditional year (TY) and extended year (EY) assignments for ten and eleven-month school bus driving employees. For the 2007/2008 school year, those dates are:
- TY = 10-Month driver work year - August 28, 2007 through June 16, 200
- TY = 11-Month driver traditional year - August 28, 2006 through June 16, 2008
- EY= 11-Month driver extended year - June 17, 2008 through July 30, 2008
Note: November 19, 20, and 21 (prior to Thanksgiving weekend) are non-work days for 10 and 11 month drivers.
