We would like to clearly identify the dates our department references when describing traditional year (TY) and extended year (EY) assignments for ten and eleven-month school bus driving employees. For the 2009/2010 school year, those dates are:
- TY = 10-Month driver work year - September 1, 2009 through June 21, 2010
- TY = 11-Month driver traditional year - August 31, 2009 through June 21 2010
- EY= 11-Month driver extended year - June 22, 2010 through August 3, 2010
Note: November 23, 24, and 25th are non-work days for 10 and 11 month drivers.
